Problem Statement

Indo Organics operated across multiple regions with sales and collection data managed in Busy software. However, the absence of real-time visibility, trend-based alerts, and segmented reporting made it hard for leadership to react swiftly to underperforming areas or revenue dips. Fragmented data access slowed down weekly planning and limited performance accountability across zones.

However, the absence of real-time visibility, trend-based alerts, and segmented reporting made it hard for leadership to react swiftly to underperforming areas or revenue dips. Fragmented data access slowed down weekly planning and limited performance accountability across zones.

Approach

We created an end-to-end sales and collections dashboard powered by real-time Busy data. Using Power Query, DAX, and Power Automate, we integrated sales, payment, and transaction layers into two modular dashboards. Drill-throughs, scheduled reports, and anomaly alerts allowed stakeholders to monitor KPIs continuously and take proactive measures aligned with zone-wise performance.

We built two Power BI dashboards with automated data pulls from Busy, six drill-through layers, and snapshot-based email reporting. KPIs such as zone-wise sales, overdue collections, and weekly growth were visualized and shared via automated alerts for high-impact visibility.

We established a custom pipeline to extract sales and financial data from Busy and transform it into usable Power BI formats. This allowed seamless daily updates without manual effort. With real-time sync, Indo Organics gained an always-on view of sales trends, dues, and zone performance—eliminating delays caused by outdated Excel workflows.

A multi-level Decom Tree was built to trace product contributions across KPIs like margin, sales, orders, and return amount. The view allowed granular product-level diagnostics and variant-level analysis in a single interactive flow. This simplified margin tracking and empowered supply chain and category teams to act on insights without needing data exports.

The core dashboard featured a consolidated view of revenue, margin, returns, and order volume with layered filters by party, category, and time. Each tile opened into 3 drill-through views, giving users control to move from high-level KPIs to record-level insight in seconds—reducing dependency on data teams for daily analytics needs.
